I've got more sewing on my plate than I know what to do with! Even better, I'm getting paid for some of them. Now the problem is time! I am a procrastinator, just call me Last Minute Mary.
Paid jobs have a due date of July 19th:
1 king pillow sham with trim. (1-2 hour project)
3 fabric trimmed hanging patio screens (your guess is as good as mine.) I've got the screens, but they need to be cut to size and I have to go buy fabric to trim with. I love the idea of the screens, but doing the math always stresses me out.
Personal sewing:
1 baby quilt for the niece (needs to be done by the 19th for the trip home to PA to meet her) she's scheduled to be delivered on the 17th.
1 stuffed frog in a tutu (due 14th for the baby shower) I've got a doll pattern to covert into a frog. Should be too hard, but it will take some time to do it.
I so need to light a fire under my own ass. I'll see how much I can get done this weekend. Then I will start panicking.

It won't be that bad, she won't have wings and she'll wearing a traditional tu-tu and maybe a little tiara.
you are gonna be a busy girl, but hey! A Sewing Business is BORN!
I have a little packet of birthday goodies for you (very much overdue from my birthday celebration) can you email me your address at raeshadrz at yahoo dot com? Thanks!!!
It's panic time. I only finished the pillow sham.
Oh Carrie...so how'd the sewing go?
I didn't get to do any sewing on Saturday, I ran errands during the day and then I had the oportunity to spend evening with a friend who has cancer.
I wound up making the sham twice, as the first time I made it too big. It's done now, so I'm going to cut the screens tonight and hopefully piece them together. I still don't have the fabric to edge them with.
The frog is on hold until I can get to the fabric store, either tonight or tomorrow night.
I am completely jealous of your sewing skills. I have a sewing machine, but unfortunately I can't operate it. I know, I am totally lame.
Sewing really isn't hard. It just takes common sense and practice.
Doesn't that always happen, you open yourself up for something, then WHAM, you get it!!
Good job!
